Today the Marathon des Sables – the Legendary 2025 started, with the sound of AC/DC’s Highway to Hell…. This means that in exactly one year I hope to stand there at the starting line as well. (The concept:

6 stages, 250 km, 9 days in the heart of the desert. A physical and mental challenge, but also a deeply human adventure.)Today I start my campaign! I’m taking this adventure-of-a-lifetime as an opportunity to draw attention to specific cancer research by the Rotterdam Erasmus medical university in a form of cancer that very much affects the life of young people.
