Stop Cancer in Young People with NF1!

The Erasmus MC ENCORE-NF1 Expertise Center in Rotterdam (see photo above) brings together knowledge and expertise on neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1). NF1 is a hereditary condition affecting approximately 7,000 people in the Netherlands. Tumors are among the most serious complications of NF1 (see photo below).

Malignant tumors particularly develop in children and young adults with NF1. These tumors are a major factor in reducing life expectancy by up to 15 years. Your contribution supports Dr. Walter Taal's research into improving the diagnosis and treatment of (malignant) tumors in NF1.
